Dale Earnhardt Jr.: NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s pizazz for inventiveness and judgment have propelled him to become one of the most well-known sport’s figures in the world. He is now retired, but was voted a record 15 times as NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver (2003 – 2017). Dale amassed 26 victories and won the Daytona 500 twice. He has also amassed 24 triumphs in the XFINITY and Sprint Cup Series. Earnhardt is a third generation driver. He takes after Dale Earnhardt Sr., his father, who has won the championship cup seven times. Dale Sr. won 76 races. On the other hand, Ralph Earnhardt, his grandfather, was a champion in his own right. Two generations have been chosen among NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers ever.
