Biography Conor McGregor was born in Dublin, Ireland in July 14, 1988. Initially working as a plumber, McGregor was inspired to take a new path when he attended UFC 93 in 2009. It is where he started dreaming of becoming a UFC champion. To pursue this dream, he started training for boxing under Phil Sutcliffe.
